Brame Heck Architects Inc. evolved from an architectural practice that began just after the turn of the Century in 1911 by the firm Newbold L. Goin. Today the firm is currently led by Billy Brame and Mick Richmond and is located in downtown Gainesville, Florida. Our practice traditionally covers the North Central portion of Florida. In our more than 100 years history, we have played a key role in many facilities that has helped to define the Gainesville and North Central Florida communities into what they are today.
A broad range best describes the type of projects that our company has undertaken. General office facilities, financial, institutional buildings and military projects have accounted for a significant portion of our work over the years, most of which are repeat clients. Local area projects have included the Gainesville Regional Utilities Administration Building, the Alachua County Consolidated Communications 911 Center, the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office, Patent Attorney’s Saliwanchik, Lloyd and Saliwanchik Office Building, two separate Corporate Headquarter Office Buildings for Naylor Publications and AvMed Corporate Headquarters.
We have also completed specialty projects including the Gainesville Regional Airport, St. Augustine and Lake City Air Traffic Control Towers. The Stephen C. O’Connell Center (O’Dome) at the University of Florida. We are also proud to have teamed with Haven Hospice of North Central Florida for facilities that are located in Gainesville, Palatka, Chiefland and Lake City, FL.
Additionally, we have contributed to many of the religious and educational facilities in and around North Florida including complete new Church and School plants.
To accomplish the above, we always utilize the latest design tools and technology to help inform and communicate our vision to our clients. These skills and our can-do attitude help support our clients’ ability to be proactive decision makers as a part of their project.
The legacy of Brame Heck Architects Inc. takes great pride in helping our clients achieve successful completed projects in which to serve their needs and community. Let us put this experience to work for your project!
