Architect
Brame Heck Architects is looking for a full-time Architect or Designer to join our team.
What we’re looking for (Qualifications):

Someone who is either:
-
A Florida Registered Architect,
-
A registered Architect able to obtain reciprocal registration in FL, or
-
A designer who is on the path to registration in the State of Florida.

What we’d like you to have (Skills and Experience):

Excellent listening skills

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Fluency with Autodesk Revit

Ability to flexibly manage multiple projects and schedules

A proactive team-oriented problem-solver
-
Experience working with Owners, User Groups, Engineering Consultants, and Contractors
-
Experience managing projects from pre-design through post occupancy
-
Client Development / Marketing Experience
-
Experience in design, document preparation, project management, and specification writing
What you’ll be doing (Tasks):
-
Meeting with Owners and User groups to coordinate design and program requirements
-
Manage project teams for new construction and renovation projects
-
Oversee and coordinate document development with BIM specialist(s)
-
Work with consultants to coordinate project delivery

Construction Administration

Internships
Brame Heck Architects offer internship positions during Spring, Summer, and Fall semesters. Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited Architectural degree program, and have completed at least the first three undergraduate years of that program. Internships include hands-on training, while providing meaningful assistance to our company. You will have the opportunity to apply what you are learning to real projects, gain exposure to a professional workplace while exploring a potential career path and learn how to communicate in new ways to build working relationships with a diverse team.
This is a paid position that requires a minimum commitment of 12 hours per week for 10 – 12 weeks and can be based on your school schedule.
