BIM/CAD Specialist

Brame Heck Architects is looking for a full-time BIM/CAD Specialist to join our team.
What we’re looking for:
•    AA/AS Degree or relevant technical degree or 1 – 2 years of experience in a drafting production environment.
•    Familiarity with Autodesk Revit or AutoCAD.
•    Ability to work with a team of different backgrounds and knowledge levels.
•    Attention to detail and time management.
•    Good communication and listening skills.
What you’ll be doing:
•    Supporting the team with design and drafting tasks for new construction and renovation projects.
•    Collaborating with the team to revise and maintain company templates.
•    Coordination of project workflows in different phases.
•    Individual prioritization to meet goals and deadlines.

Architect

Brame Heck Architects is looking for a full-time Licensed Architect to join our team.  
What we’re looking for:
•    An Architect who is Registered in the State of Florida, or able to obtain reciprocal license

•    Experience managing construction projects from pre-design through post occupancy
•    Excellent listening skills
•    Excellent written and oral communication skills
•    Ability to flexibly manage multiple projects and schedules 
•    A Proactive, team-oriented problem-solver
•    Experience working with Owners, User Groups, Engineering Consultants, and Contractors 
Wha
t we’d like you to have:  
•    Client Development / Marketing Experience
•    Experience with Autodesk Revit 
•    Experience in design, document preparation, project management, and specification writing 
•    Experience with cloud-based platforms (Trello, OneDrive, and BIM360)
What you’ll be doing:
•    Meeting with Owners and User groups to coordinate design and program requirements
•    Management of project teams for new construction and renovation projects
•    Oversee and coordinate document development with BIM specialist(s)
•    Collaboration with consultants to coordinate project delivery
•    Construction Administration
•    Coordination of multiple project workflows progressing at different phases simultaneously

Internships

Brame Heck Architects offer internship positions during Spring, Summer, and Fall semesters. Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited Architectural degree program, and have completed at least the first three undergraduate years of that program. Internships include hands-on training, while providing meaningful assistance to our company. You will have the opportunity to apply what you are learning to real projects, gain exposure to a professional workplace while exploring a potential career path and learn how to communicate in new ways to build working relationships with a diverse team.
 

This is a paid position that requires a minimum commitment of 12 hours per week for 10 – 12 weeks and can be based on your school schedule.
